Responsibilities:
Graphics design from scratch
Photo editing
Participation in brainstorming sessions
Research on new styles and concept ideas
Direct collaboration with content engineers and marketing team

Back-End Engineer
DESCRIPTION
Pinnatta, οne of the fastest growing Greek startups, is looking for a talented (junior to mid) software Engineer to join our Engineering team in Athens and participate in the evolution of our innovative service.

Responsibilities
Develop API and services that will be used in real time, from millions of people
Ensure that the code will perform, scale and is secure
Debug, fix code and help developers in debugging their code through the higher level insight you have
Troubleshoot reported cases to the customer service and draft RFCs that naturally occur from the reported cases
Make real time database scheme transitions
Ensure the validity at any time of the data we keep, through checks, scripts and inspection
Handle big data in real time or process them in batch so as to provide views and insights
Consult on technical issues
Write documentation
REQUIREMENTS
Always be ready to accept new challenges and responsibilities
Have a solid knowledge of PHP 5.3 using it for development for 2+ years
Be familiar with OOP and Design Patterns
Have implemented APIs in the past
Have worked with third party APIs
Ability to setup, administrate and troubleshoot a Linux server
Ability to configure, administrate, troubleshoot an Apache server
Working experience with at least one of SQL and/or NoSQL Database
Working experience of caching layers
Experience in message passing mechanisms and implementation of asynchronous code
Strong knowledge of HTTP protocol and JSON format
JavaScript, HTML and CSS fluency
Believe that quality is a discipline that must be exercised in every level
Team player
Good communications skills
Nice to have:
Previous experience in cloud IAAS
Experience with at least one web framework
Ability to analyze and present big data
Portfolio of open source projects or reference from private projects
Experience in internationalization (i18n)

Responsibilities:
Design and implement advanced applications for the Android platform
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
Continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
REQUIREMENTS
2+ years of Android development
Have published or worked at least one Android app
Experience with Android SDK
Experience working with remote data via HTTP and JSON
Experience with third-party libraries and APIs (e.g. Facebook)
Experience with scripting languages (e.g. ANT)
Experience with Version Control Systems (e.g. GIT)
Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
