With a mature and growing community we are now reinvesting organic profits into breaking out into new sectors & segment in which the on-demand economy has not yet become mainstream.  The first of these is larger enterprises where the offering is tailored to corporates (via software + labour solutions) managing large remote workforces (some vetted in-house and some outsourced) efficiently and cost-effectively all in one place.

Responsibilities:
We are looking for an in-house PR&Comms rock star who will help elevate our brand and coverage to the next level. We have to-date achieved north of $750 million in AVE in PR coverage so that’s a great start but one we feel – with the right person at the help – can lead to much more.

You must be a natural storyteller, a great brand strategist and a natural at talking with and selling to the media. You must be a do-er, a great leader and people manager, and one who leads with passion, zeal and drive. You  must be creative, possess excellent written and communication skills and thrive at spinning and telling a story.

As PR&Comms Director you will be the ultimate owner of the PPH Brand. You will be tasked with managing communications and messaging across all the key touch points, including: all marketing collateral, traditional media relations,  social media, community forums, events and word of mouth.

If you do a great job, brand awareness will grow year-on-year as will brand perception along the messages we want to relay which you will have  a pivotal role in defining.

Your ultimate goal will be to elevate the brand from one associated with the website and the utility it offers as-is today, to one associated with driving long term change and innovation in the way businesses work

Requirements:
4+ years experience ideally in a mix of agency and in-house roles
Worked in a start-up environment
Managed people  across different comms. functions
Degree from a top university
Excellent writing skills
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
A knack for storytelling
Good numeracy skills & working knowledge of spreadsheets
Natural inquisitiveness & curiosity to find out more about more
