Job description
Project Manager in EU / Europe-aid projgrams with ability to:

• Design, propose and support (proposal/tender writting & preparation) projects under the E.U. Structural Funds, co-financed projects (directly from E.U. Institutions ,such as DGs, Europe-aid, EiF, EiB, etc).
• Execute projects from above with full responsibility in terms of Management & Financial aspects.
• Depending on individual's skills and education, the candidate should perform also technical consulting work towards the projects (i.e. either Innovation, or Regional Development, or Economy, or SME support, etc)
• Office base is in Athens with occasional 1-2 days business trip (monthly, or bi-monthly)

Desired Skills and Experience
Only those with the following skills will be considered:

• University degree from accredited school and preferrably graduate studies (MSc, PhD) in Applied Sciences/Engineering, or in Regional Development/Finance/Economy.
• English language as a working language (oral and written). 2nd language is welcome.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in E.U. co-financed projects, E.U. Tenders, or External Aid programs (Europe-aid).
• Good knowledge and familiarity with EU subsidy and Technical assistance programs
• Have executed in full responsibility at least 2-3 projects budgeted above 200.000 euro.
• Holds good knowledge of E.U. Policies and be well aware of E.U. funding Business Development procedures. 
• Have creativity (that works), employ entrepreneurial attitude and possess aesthetics!
• Ex-Patriots and other E.U. citizens/residents are welcome
