UAE warns Emiratis to be vigilant with their belongings when visiting Santorini

Emiratis travelling to the Greek islands for their summer holiday have been warned to be vigilant with their belongings, especially if they plan to visit Santorini.

The island of Santorini is located in the southern Aegean Sea, about 200 kilometres southeast of Greece's mainland, and is mostly known for its volcanic pebbled beaches and romantic sunsets.

Due to the massive influx of tourists expected during the summer months, the UAE Embassy on Monday cautioned Emiratis against pickpockets, and to always keep a close watch on their belongings, especially after sunset.

Greece is a popular destination for holiday goers travelling to and from Dubai, with Emirates recording 3 million passengers with the airline since it started flying to Athens in 1996. www.gulfnews.com Ας συνδεθούμε στο LinkedIn για να διαβάζετε πρώτοι τα άρθρα -->
