The Role
The Marketing Associate will work closely with the Business Development Manager to support the development and implementation of the Marketing & Communication strategy for a global language certification product. This is a hands-on marketing position which will include: content development, creative/design, messaging and communications, digital marketing, and social media. The successful candidate will be responsible for marketing research and producing effective and efficient communication solutions by creating and delivering marketing material ensuring that its content is fully supported by the product information. You will be responsible for the online presence (web site content, direct mail communications, blog etc.) and product characteristics.
Main responsibilities:
Work closely with the business development team to create product marketing materials and literature in electronic and print format (leaflets, brochures, information packs, web site content, videos, presentations, articles etc)
Copyedit, proofread, and revise communications
Design and launch email marketing campaigns and other inbound marketing activities
Update and maintain online marketing libraries, web sites, internet groups and social media sites
Research industry, market opportunities and industry trends
Prepare briefing materials
Desired Skills and Experience
Candidate Profile:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication & Media or related field, a Master’s degree and relevant international certifications will be appreciated
Experience between two (2) and four (4) years in marketing roles, ideally in a fast-paced multinational environment
Sound understanding of marketing principles
Experience in social media, internet advertising and on-line platforms
Strong writing and editing skills in English. Ability to translate clients’ needs and certification of personal skills benefits into effective marketing content
Strong initiative and ability to adapt quickly within a fast moving environment
Organized, self-starter who can achieve objectives with autonomy and minimal oversight.
Excellent command of the Greek and English language (C2 level). Bilingual in English/Greek will be preferred.
Excellent Microsoft Office Skills; ECDL Core / Expert certification will be considered an asset
Experience in working with training organizations will be considered an asset.
