Ahold Delhaize has announced two changes to its management team in Europe: Vassilis Stavrou becomes Brand President of Alfa Beta in Greece. He succeeds Leonidas Vrettakos, who is retiring after 21 years with the business.
Stavrou is currently the Brand President of the group’s Mega Image chain in Romania. His career began at Alfa Beta back in 1994, where he played a major part in logistics, quality assurance and human resources. Subsequently he held a regional HR and sustainability position in Europe, prior to taking responsibility for Mega Image in 2015.
Stavrou's successor as brand president at Mega Image is Mircea Moga, the current vice-president of commercial and logistics for the Romanian chain. Having worked in logistics, retail operations and IT in the past, the group says he has been integral in the expansion of the brand. Moga was a driving force in securing growth, from four stores when he started to over 620 now.
Both appointments will become effective on 1 October. Stavrou and Moga will report to Ahold Delhaize’s new CEO Frans Muller until Wouter Kolk assumes his role as CEO for Europe and Indonesia. Source: Retail Detail Ας συνδεθούμε στο LinkedIn για να διαβάζετε πρώτοι τα άρθρα -->
