Convert Group on behalf of its client INTERSPORT (part of Fourlis Group), an international sporting goods retailer, is looking for an

eCommerce & Digital Marketing Manager

The role’s main focus is to lead effectively INTERSPORT's e-commerce activities in Greece and abroad, in line with the overall marketing and business strategy.

The role reports to the Regional Marketing Manager of the Company.


Development and growth of the INTERSPORT e-commerce sales strategy to meet business and strategic goals through the use of relevant tools and platforms and drive traffic and sales,
Development of customer experience strategy on the digital channels, by recommending and implementing actions and initiatives.
Ownership of e-commerce budget and relevant P&L.
Implementation and execution on various e-commerce and performance marketing activities
Monitoring of e-commerce business plan performance (by channel etc.) and drive any necessary changes to meet or exceed targets
Improvement of e-shop operations and processes
Supervision of e-commerce operations cycle and activities
Supervision and coordination of content creation and social media presence of INTERSPORT
Monitoring of relevant KPIs for e-commerce operations, sales and marketing effectiveness of the online store and recommendation for improvement.
Resolves issues regarding the functionality of e-shop’s front-end and back-end
Regular assessment and recommendation regarding customer experience
Close collaboration with all relevant stakeholders including digital agencies and other INTERSPORT departments
Inspire and positively influence all internal teams to gradually adapt e-commerce/digital approach and drive relevant growth
The role will lead a team of e-commerce/digital professionals and will have a multi-country exposure


University Degree related to e-Commerce/Computer Sciences/Business Studies
MBA is considered as a plus
Approximately 5 years of proven experience in eCommerce/online shops. Experience working on an international brand/e-shop is considered as a plus
Excellent understanding of eCommerce Strategy, Operations and Web Analytics and the ability to use them to drive business strategy
Proven experience in eCommerce platforms (e.g. Shopify, Prestashop, Magento etc.) or other CMS systems
Excellent knowledge of Digital Marketing and Social Media
Strong analytical and communication skills (both in Greek and in English)
Ability to manage external vendors/agencies
Willing to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment and be a positive change agent
Needs to be self-reliant, able to move between strategy and hands-on implementation flawlessly and accountable for his area of responsibility.
Needs to have flexible communication style, good work ethics and a team spirit approach.
